Gearwheel for input shaft

Gearwheel input shaft 17,5° 30mm
This gear is where the power is transferred in all gears. Originally, this part had a 15° gear cut. This was changed in 4/1982 to 17,5°.

If your bike was manufactured after 4/1982, but before 3/1985 then this part is a direct replacement.

If your bike was manufactured before 4/1982 and never upgraded to the newer design, then you will also need to purchase a new 5th gear wheels that are also cut at 17,5°

You will also need:
Art.no. 2321997 Intermediate Shaft Gear (not available from BMW)
Output Shaft 5th Gear Wheel.
With this gear you have some choices:
Art.no. 2322993 Standard Milled gear with 5% taller gearing
Art.no. 2322992 Polished gear with 5% taller gearing for reduced friction
