Headlight spring clip

Original BMW part.

This spring clip is what holds the headlight glass into the headlight ring. The spring clips are placed evenly around the perimeter and at least 5 are needed to hold the assembly together but for a secure fit, 6 is the number that is recommended.

These clips are for almost all models with a round headlight except the one piece sealed headlight assemblies like for example BMW G/S and GS models.
