Voltage regulator

This voltage regulator is known as the "Police Version" and it puts out 0.5volt more than the standard regulator art.no. 1232409. This regulator is ideal for those who regularly cover short distances or are often slowed down in city traffic. The boxer charging system starts to really work above about 2500 RPM and it can take several miles just to recuperate from starting the motorcycle. This regulator is also good if you are have lots of electrical accessories going, additional lights, heated grips and more.

More is not always better! When considering which regulator you should buy, keep the above information in mind. If most of your rides are out on the open road and you tend to ride longer distances when you do ride and you'll maybe run your heated grips now and again but that's about it....the standard regulator will be fine for you.
